MOTHER OF 16 YEAR OLD ADOPTEE - POST SSP

The most notable change is in his ability to converse with other people. He is carrying on conversations about a variety of topics and expressing real interest. His physical demeanor is more relaxed and he said he feels calm and hopeful about his future. He smiles and laughs and it's genuine.

MOTHER OF 4 YEAR OLD ADOPTEE - POST SSP

He is not as scared of new sounds and sometimes not scared at all.  His OT made a comment today on how much better he is with sounds.

Overall my anxiety, especially my social anxiety is much lower. I'm not as fearful to reach out or participate in social things anymore.

She is getting to sleep easier and sleeping better when she does, she hasn't physically attacked me in over a week, and generally seems calmer and more engaged with the world around her.
